Green terrace in front of the window 3.6 m² – Ghimbav

Small sedum green terrace, built under the principle: No green roof will ever be rejected for execution because it is “too small”

This small patch of green terrace, only four square meters in size, tells a much bigger story than its dimensions would suggest. Located directly in front of a large window, it becomes a natural extension of the interior space, a living picture that changes from week to week.

Even though the home is situated in an area rich in greenery, the client wanted nature to be present as close as possible – not just viewed from a distance.

The sedum forms a dense carpet with varied textures and seasonal color accents that appear and disappear throughout the year. Seen from inside, the space gains depth: instead of a roof edge or gravel surface, you see a piece of garden at eye level. It’s the kind of detail that subtly changes your mood without you realizing it – in the morning when you draw the curtains, or in the evening when the light falls at an angle across the plants.

It’s not a terrace that impresses through size, but through intention. A clear desire to be surrounded by greenery from every angle, even when you are indoors.
