After the first year following installation, the results are more than encouraging. The green roofs in Târgu Mureș have proven to be extremely resilient, while the vegetation has spread naturally, forming a compact and vibrant layer. Recent images reveal a living carpet of plants completely covering the metal structures, in varied shades of green, reddish and pink. Autumn adds an extra visual spectacle, with yellow leaves settling over the green layer and giving these spaces a unique charm.

City residents welcome these changes with enthusiasm. Many daily users of public transport say they feel better waiting for the bus under a vegetation-covered shelter than in a conventional station. In a dynamic, crowded city exposed to environmental stressors, these small green islands bring calm, freshness, and a sense of well-being.
